Mr. Ellenthal joined Peer39 from quadrantONE, a joint online advertising venture of major media companies including The New York Times, Gannett, Hearst, and The Tribune, where he served as CEO. At quadrantONE he built the organization from the ground up, seeing 500% growth in 2009 and adding 140 new advertisers in the first full year of sales operations. Prior to this Mr. Ellenthal was at PointRoll where he led sales efforts and increased the company's revenue exponentially. Before PointRoll, Mr. Ellenthal held a number of sales management roles while at DoubleClick, Inc., where he was Vice President of Advertisers' Solutions after previously serving as National Sales Director and Regional Sales Manager. He was one of the first salespeople to sell Doubleclick's Dart for Advertisers (DFA). While leading the sales and account management teams, Ellenthal fueled Doubleclick's DFA from start-up to the $40 million revenue range, working extensively with the top interactive agencies, including most of the major online advertisers and direct marketers from leading Fortune 100 companies. Before entering the online advertising space world, Ellenthal worked in print media sales for several niche technology and lifestyle publications.
Amiad Solomon - President and Founder
Mr. Solomon is the President and Founder of Peer39. Together with Peer39 scientists, research and development and marketing groups, he developed the core patents covering Peer39's unique semantic analysis technology and business practices. Prior to founding Peer39, Mr. Solomon was a sales and business development executive at IDX (acquired by GE). Recognized as one of the world's leading experts on the application of semantic technology to next-generation online advertising, Mr. Solomon serves on the Content Board of Directors for the Software Information Industry Association, and is a sought after speaker on advertising, product innovation and start-ups.
Jonathan Schler - CTO and GM Israel
Dr. Schler joined Peer39 from Nielsen Online where he served as VP of Research and Development responsible for key areas of the company's core research and innovation in the area text-mining solutions and computational linguistics. Prior to his work at Nielsen, Dr. Schler was VP of Research and Development of Trendum (acquired by Nielsen), and worked at Microsoft's Machine Learning and Anti-Spam Group. Before that he was an R&D group leader at Clear Forest, a leader in business solutions enabled by text extraction and text analytics (acquired by Reuters). Dr. Schler holds a Ph.D. from Bar-Ilan University, concentrating on machine learning, text categorization and classification, and natural language processing (NLP).
James Oppenheim - CMO
Mr. Oppenheim joined Peer39 from The Jerusalem Post where, as Director of New Media, he managed the strategy, implementation, and sales for JPost.com, the #1 online destination for Israel and Middle East news. Mr. Oppenheim worked with Amiad Solomon to establish Peer39's core business practices and is a key player in leveraging the company's technological advantages to maintain and expand its competitive market edge. A noted thought leader and speaker, Mr. Oppenheim is a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Networks and Exchanges Committee and Sales Executive Council.
Moshe Koppel - Chief Scientist
Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science at Bar-Ilan University, Prof. Koppel holds a Ph.D. from New York University, and is a former member at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton. Prof. Koppel is an internationally renowned expert on machine learning and its application to text retrieval problems. He has published in a variety of research journals and holds numerous patents on machine learning, natural language processing and automated software solutions that gather, extract, analyze and understand information from text.
Chrisanne McCoy - VP Business Development
Chrisanne McCoy leads business development for Peer39, and manages all sales and partnership activities. Chrisanne brings more than 12 years of experience in business development, sales, and consulting and has executed successful business partnerships with some of the largest media companies and marketers. Prior to joining Peer39, Chrisanne was part of the original business development team at Revenue Science that established their publisher footprint and created the foundational behavioral targeting business. Chrisanne led strategic sales for Operative, the leading provider of digital advertising revenue management software and services, and was the first digital sales manager at INVISION, the leading provider of sales management to the media industry. Prior to working in the media space, Chrisanne spent 6 years in business development and consulting roles at Peppers & Rogers Group, the ground-breaking CRM strategy consulting firm, which was sold to Carlson Marketing Group in 2003. While there, Chrisanne worked with executives from many of the largest Fortune 500 brands to set customer and audience strategy.
Eilon Hazum - Director of Finance
Eilon Hazum leads all financial management aspects of Peer39's operations, accounting, and budgeting efforts. Prior to joining Peer39, Mr. Hazum spent five years at Vyyo, Inc., a Nasdaq-traded company, as Director of Finance. Mr. Hazum is also a CPA who began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds an M.B.A. in Business Management and a B.A. in Business from the Tel Aviv College of Management.
Alex White - VP Product and Account Management
Alex White joins Peer39 from Yahoo!, where he led technology partnerships for the company's advertising product group and led data strategy on its Exchange. Alex started at Yahoo! with the company's acquisition of Right Media, a pioneer among emerging online ad platforms and the original and largest online ad exchange. Alex began his online advertising career at DoubleClick in 1998 in sales and business development positions.
Oren Meir - VP R&D
Oren Meir joins Peer39 after 6 years as head of R&D at in-game advertising pioneer Double Fusion, where he was a member of the founding team. Prior to Double Fusion, Mr. Meir served as the R&D team leader of NLP-based solutions provider Clear Forest (acquired by Thomson-Reuters), where he was in charge of the company's primary product. Mr. Meir holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and B.A. in Communications and Journalism from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and drums in his spare time.
