Ned Carlson - Dawntreader Ventures

Mr. Carlson is a Managing Director of Dawntreader Ventures and has been with the team since its inception. Prior to Dawntreader Ventures, Mr. Carlson held various positions in the investment banking division of UBS Securities. During his time at UBS, Mr. Carlson advised technology clients on all facets of the capital raising and initial public offering process. Mr. Carlson holds a degree in government from Harvard College. Mr. Carlson is a former Advisor to the Board of MortgageIT (IPO, NYSE: MHL), and a former Director of InterSAN (acquired by Finisar, Nasdaq: FNSR), Colloquis (acquired by Microsoft, Nasdaq: MSFT), and ProactiveNet (acquired by BMC Software, NYSE: BMC).

 
 

Daniel T. Ciporin - Canaan Partners

Mr. Ciporin joined Canaan Partners in 2007 specializing in digital media and communications investments. Mr. Ciporin is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Shopping.com, a publicly traded online comparison shopping service. As CEO of the company beginning in 1999, Mr. Ciporin oversaw the company's growth from zero to over $100 million in revenues in just 5 years, culminating in the company's initial public offering in October 2004. During his tenure Shopping.com became the leader and dominant player in the newly emerging sector of comparison shopping, and was the third largest ecommerce site on the web before it was acquired by eBay in August of 2005 for $620 million.

Warren Lee - Canaan Partners

Mr. Lee brings significant operational experience and proven investment talent to Canaan Partners, with expertise in communications, digital media, and software. Mr. Lee joined Canaan in August 2005 from Comcast Interactive Capital, where he led its investments in and served as a director or observer on the boards of Arbor Networks, Arroyo Video Solutions (acquired by Cisco in August 2006), Broadbus Technologies (acquired by Motorola in July 2006), CommunityConnect, Counterpane Internet Security (acquired by British Telecom in October 2006), netForensics, ReefEdge (acquired by Symantec), and Tripwire. Mr. Lee holds a B.S. in Computer Science and B.A. in Economics with honors from Stanford University, and an MBA from The Wharton School.

 
 

Erez Shachar - Evergreen Venture Partners

Mr. Shachar joined Evergreen in the beginning of 2004 as a managing partner. He focuses on Evergreen's investments in the Software, Internet and New Media sectors. Mr. Shachar joined Evergreen from NUR Macroprinters Ltd. (acquired by HP), where he served as CEO and President since 1997. Under his direction, NUR increased its revenues sevenfold by significantly penetrating global markets. Prior to joining NUR, Mr. Shachar held several senior managerial positions at Scitex Corporation (NASDAQ: SCIX), where he began as a software engineer. Mr. Shachar holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel-Aviv University and has an MBA from INSEAD. Mr. Shachar was Evergreen's representative on the Boards of Traiana, which was sold to ICAP for $251M and of Identify, which was acquired by BMC Software for $150M.
